10 Summer Favorites
I dropped the ball on monthly favorites since creating my goal in January. Therefore, I am attempting to salvage my goal by posting seasonal favorites 6 months later… Hoorayy for New Years Resolutions! Although we are midway through July these 10 summer favorites are ideal products for the salty, sweaty, and sunny season!
For a recap, my favorites are a hodgepodge of products/things I have discovered throughout the season; all travel tools, fitness finds, and lifestyle must-haves.
This season’s list consists of items I’ve ordered and loved and items that are on my wish list! Bonus: they all make for great gifts. Read below for more!

Anker Water Resistant Bluetooth Speaker
Madewell Bandana – 90s fashion trends are so in, and I am LOVVVING it. These bandanas can be used in a variety of ways. Wear it in your hair, around your neck, or dress up your favorite bag.
Madewell Jean Overalls – These comfortable bad boys are my new favorite buy! Completely versatile… wear them to the beach, out to dinner, or to run errands. I should also mention they are available in black.. it took me forever to make a decision on which color to purchase. Time to bring the 90s back ladies!!
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – I bought this new hydrating mask created by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores, and I LOVE IT! I have used it on short and long flights, and I have left it on overnight as a weekly face mask. It gives you a nice glow while hydrating your skin. Cruelty free and vegan ingredients, tried by Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian. (OooO). Either leave it on overnight or leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it off. Your skin will thank you!
Sweat Cosmetics – Created by fellow soccer players, this mineral foundation was designed for active people who want to enhance their beauty while they sweat. Sweat-resistant, cruelty free, made from natural ingredients, and SPF protection.
Fré Skin Care – Sticking with the sweating theme, this skin care set is designed specifically for active women and sweaty skin. I have never used a skin care routine specifically related to my active lifestyle. A three step process with a moisturizer, cleanser, and anti-aging formula, all sweat-resistent. Needless to say I am eager to try it out as I sweat for a summer bod!
Ouai Wave Spray – Summer also means humidity, and with humidity comes poor hair days. I don’t do much with my hair as it is, so when I came across this effortless product I knew I had to try it. Get effortless beachy waves with a few sprays! I didn’t purchase this spray, but I did buy a sea salt spray. The spray I use is €5 from a local drugstore here in Austria.
Albion Fit Swimsuits – I just purchased a suit from here, and I am so excited to bring it on my trip to Croatia later this summer. Perfect for all body types, and proven to be of great quality. You can purchase the trendy one piece suits or bikinis. Albion also has matching kid swimsuits available!
Polaroid Camera– This is my favorite summer souvenir. I love taking pictures with the polaroid and posting them on the refrigerator. A fun way to collect memories and reminisce at the end of the summer.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck – I read this a few months ago, but I think it is the perfect summer book for sitting on the beach soaking up sunshine with no cares in the world. Mark Manson gives it to you straight up. We get hung up on things that happen, and in the end it’s a waste of time. It’s time to handle the adversity. Life is too short to give a f*ck.
Anker Bluetooth Speaker– Russ got me this speaker for Christmas and I am obsessed! An affordable speaker that is water resistant and small and light enough to take on the go. I use it at work and we have taken it to the beach, hiking in the mountains, and on pretty much all our trips this summer.
