Arbonne Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana, and Coconut Protein Shake
PROTEIN. The word thrown around with fitness gurus alike and often averted by those who don’t lift weights. Before I started doing research I avoided protein like the plague because I always had this idea that eating/drinking protein would make me big and bulky.
However, after doing proper research..I have learned protein is arguably one of the most important parts of your diet.
First of all, if you are questioning how much protein you should consume a day it really depends on your height, weight, and activity level. So do your research. According to Livestrong.com the average adult woman needs 46g of protein a day and the average adult male needs 56g a day. Protein intake is NOT just for people who workout, but for everyone!!!
I have tried SO many protein powders over the past few years. The two biggest problems I ran into were that the protein either tasted like dirt or the protein hurt my stomach.
I tried soy, whey, etc. and I could not find one I liked.. until I came across Arbonne. Arbonne is Gluten Free and Vegan AND does not hurt my stomach!!!! HOORAYYY! Arbonne protein comes in either chocolate, vanilla, or chai (for a limited time), which allows you to get creative with recipes. The serving size of two scoops contains 20g of protein, and over 20 vitamins and minerals. Bottom line- it is AMAZING!
If I am in a hurry I will put two scoops in a shaker bottle with a cup of almond milk or I will make a protein smoothie.
Currently this protein shake has been my go to after my weightlifting workouts!!!
